Driving Directions:

Approaching Torbay from the South Devon Expressway/A380, continue to follow A380. As you approach The Riviera by the dual-carriageway there is a large T-junction: Torquay signposted to the left, with Paignton and Brixham to the right - turn right, up the hill (Hamelin Way). At the roundabout, straight ahead on Hellevoetsluis Way/A380. At the roundabout, straight ahead on Marldon Way/A380, at the roundabout, straight ahead on Kings Ash Rd/A380 and continue straight on. At the large traffic lights crossroad go straight ahead on to the dual-carriageway of Brixham Rd/A3022. Continue to follow A3022 as it becomes a single-carriageway and at the next traffic lights (Windy Corner) turn right on to Dartmouth Rd/A379. Carry straight on as the A379 becomes the A3022 Brixham Rd again. With the entrance to Lupton House on your right the road turns left and down the valley towards Brixham. Just before the traffic lights (Old Toll House) the A3022 becomes New Road, bare left through the lights down New Road heading to the Town Centre. To avoid Town - after the Golden Lion Pub (left), turn immediately left up the side of the Melville B&B on to Lower Manor Road. This is initially a steep, narrow road with a 90 degree right turn opposite the car showroom. Continue on Lower Manor Rd as it joins with a road entering at a sharp angle from the left to become Higher Manor Rd - continue on to Church St (All Saints Church on your left). 50m after the Church turn sharp left up Station Hill. As you go round the right turn you will see a new lamp-post up ahead right. Immediately to the right of the lamp-post is the narrow entrance to Prospect Road through two narrow walls (don't worry - normal sized dustbin lorries get through here, and it is two way traffic!). Driftwood B&B is on the right. Our garages are located just 40m further down the road (furthest 3 of 4). Pull up in front of the garages on the hard standing to drop your bags off before parking.

Parking:

Whilst we do have garages, they were built in the 1970's! Unfortunately, as vehicles are much bigger nowadays very few of our guest's vehicles are small enough to access them safely.

Local parking is therefore predominantly roadside (free), or via two central car parks (P&D). There are a few roadside parking spaces across the road from the garages - subject to availability. Should no spaces be available on Prospect Road, the next road above us (South Furzeham Road), is a much longer road of free roadside parking - from here it's just a 2-3 minute walk downhill to the B&B. Alternatively, if you prefer, or very unusually you can't find roadside parking, there are two local P&D car parks nearby: The short-stay town centre car park is located just below us (2-3 minutes walk), and the Long /Short-stay car park is behind us in Oxon Cove (8-10 minutes walk).
